Thesis
statement : Gubernatorial
election mechanism through Parliament right more efficient, but in the end the
moral welfare of the people including the leader of the nation is at stake
because elected capitalize enough money though not qualified, immoral, and
known to his own people.

election by the legislature , reducing the cost of politics is quite large . In

are conducted directly by the people , whoever has the possibility and
potential to become a regional head . Not only candidates from smaller parties

The weakness of this system , spend no small cost . In addition to the cost of
implementation , political cost to be incurred by the candidate are also very
large because they need to prepare a budget for the attributes , campaigns ,
and other social activities . In fact , not infrequently the candidates also
have to pay directly the voters in order to win the fight . But despite all
that , in Indonesia as a country democratic local elections should be elected
directly by the people as the leader of the area is to be someone who is well

of this law is Jakarta Election 2007. In 2011 , published a new law on election
organizers namely Law No. 15 of 2011. In this law , the term used is the
selection of Governors , Regents and Mayors . core of democracy is the power of
the people . Therefore , let the people themselves who determine the leader.
